Dressage To music Training

 Open to all area 20 clubs

 

Maelor Riding Club are running a music evening where anyone from area 20 can come and have a run through their music for the forth coming Music Qualifier. Or just to have a go, or watch.

 Sarah Gathercole will be on hand if you would like some advice,

You may wish to ride your test and have it marked from the judges view, Sarah then may be able to give you some helpful advice and suggestions then you can run through your test again.

 We will be giving each person a ½ hour slot at a cost of £15 per ½ hr.

Please state a time preference and I will try and accommodate you.

BRITISH RIDING CLUB's

TEAM ENDURANCE EVENT

hosted and organised by

ENDURANCE GB

Endurance GB is hosting and organising a series of qualifying rides for

the above event, culminating in a final in September 2010.

This Team Event is an opportunity for you to come along and try

endurance riding in the company of your friends and colleagues.

Teams can be made up of three to six riders. You don’t need any

special equipment, particular breed or type of horse to get started,

just you, your horse and your normal riding tack.

Qualifying rides are about 32km (20 miles) and are in beautiful areas

of the country, very often over private land. There are 12 qualifying

rides in all, with at least one in each of the Sport England Regions.

The Final will be held in September at Southwell Racecourse in

Nottinghamshire, where the finalists will have the opportunity to

complete the competition by riding down the all weather track to the

finish line.

Judges decision is final. Only BHS Approved hard hats to be worn INCLUDING DRESSAGE at any time on the showground.

DRESSAGE TO MUSIC RULES FOR July 18th Show only

This competition will be run under BHS Riding Club rules Appendix 16 Page 111 of Official Rules 2009. Novice and Elementary. Test will be 4mins – 4 1/2 mins Music must be on a tape cued to the correct position, or cd, a music supervisor will be allowed in the commentators box. Each tape must be clearly labelled with Horse and Rider’s name and given to the judges before the Novice class starts. There must be indication from the rider on the tape (I start with a salute or start music at D) and if you wish music to continue as you leave indicate this on your tape and which side of tape to use. Arena size 60 x 20 for the music classes only.

PLEASE NOTE ALL COMPETITORS MUST WEAR CORRECT BHS APPROVED HARD HATS FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.
